    Default BFP -13dp5dt and spotting

    Hi Ladies

Feels very strange posting in the preggo room... I kind of feel like an intruder

So found out last week i am pg! First beta - 621. I spotted a bit (sorry for TMI) before i had my BFP confirmation and then this weekend spotting started again. It really is miniscule - like a few tiny dots of light brown every now and again. Have any of you experienced this?

Going to call clinic again this morning but just thought I'd like to get some of your first hand experience.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi McGinty

Wow that is a strong first beta! Have you had any follow up beta's done?

I only had spotting for about 4 days from 7dp5dt to 10dp5dt and then after a session at the acupuncturist it stopped, and I have not had anything again.

I think it is a good idea to just call your clinic, but if it is just brown spotting I really wouldn't worry too much. Could just be the progesterone support that is irritating your cervic. Are you using Crinone or cyclogest?

When are you going for your first scan? I'm sure you are very excited.

    Good luck and KUP

    Thanks Daryl

Called the clinic and they said sure it's nothing to worry about but can come in for beta and progesterone check up, which i did this morning. Will call a bit later to get results.

I am on cyclogest. Not sure about irritating my uterus but it is sure a hell irritating my stomach.

First scan on the 13th Feb. Yup, i am looking forward to that!

All seems clear. Beta has more than doubled over 3 days and progesterone levels are good. Apparently spotting pretty normal.

Jeez, the stressing never stops... or is it just me?

    That's great news!

No the stressing never stops, and especially in the first trimester. Things get a little easier after that, but you never really stop worrying 100%.

Sounds like you could have more than 1 baby in there. How many did you put back?

    Hi McGinty!

Happy to hear all is ok. Btw: I think the stressing starts now, and never stops, 'cause once baby's there, that's a whole new slew of worries!

Here's to an uneventful pregnancy for you.

Cyclogest tends to have some stomach side effects, but its not so bad - just make piece with it and see it through. It does do wonders for the womb and your progesterone levels so hang in there

All still seem well, so good luck and let us know when you go for your first scan.

Ok, so basically stress from now till eternity. Wheehaaa!

Daryl, we put 2 back..... mmmm, I wonder!?

As long as the cyclogest does the uterus good the stomach will just have to suffer.

    Tks ladies!
