I Have been informed by Dr G that I must be developing a tolerance to the Dormican. With my last ER I had a combination of Dormican and Pethidine. It didn’t help, I was still in pain, conscious and confused and very very upset, I just couldn’t stop sobbing. What do they do with patients like me during ER? Is full Anaesthesia an option?
Wednesday, March 26th, 2008At our clinic we give the patients full conscious sedation by administering Dormicum, Pethidine and Propofol. This leads to complete sedation without any pain or recollection of the event. You do however need full theatre facilities in order to do it this way.
